The 71st session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW71) takes place 8–19 March 2027 at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The priority theme is accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The session also reviews the CSW66 agreed conclusions on gender equality in climate change, environmental and disaster-risk-reduction policies and programmes.
Representatives of NGOs in consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). Each organisation’s Conference Focal Point must approve its representatives on Indico.UN — UN Women does not approve them. Up to 20 representatives per organisation; youth delegates are strongly encouraged. Once approved, representatives receive an approval letter by email that can support a visa application.
Online registration on Indico.UN is mandatory. Registrations by email are not accepted.
